Our Story
How the Cork Popped…
CorkNTalk started with a simple realisation: most people love wine, but hate the way the wine world often makes them feel. Too serious. Too many rules. Harry, our founder, saw friends, customers, and even seasoned drinkers second-guessing themselves, not because they didn’t enjoy wine, but because they felt they didn’t “know enough”. So, he set out to change that.
What began as casual conversations and friendly recommendations grew into a full wine-tasting experience built around approachability and authenticity. Harry’s down-to-earth style, storytelling approach, and passion for discovering great-value bottles quickly resonated with people across North Shropshire and the Welsh Marches.
CorkNTalk was born from the idea that wine should never be intimidating, just enjoyable. Everyone deserves the confidence to explore beyond the supermarket shelves.
